What I wanted most for my daughter was that she be able to soar confidently in her own sky, whatever that may be.
~ Helen Claes
Sweet, sweet Clairey,
As the smallest and most quiet member of our family, your voice can get a little lost. Sometimes you fight to be heard, and it can be pretty frustrating for you.
Here’s what I want you to know:
I see you. I hear you. I believe in you.
You matter to me – to all of us – in a big, big way. Our family wouldn’t be complete without you.
You’re our sweet snuggle-bunny, always burying us in hugs and kisses morning, noon, and night.
You’re whip smart, picking up everything you’re learning in kindergarten with ease.
You love to sing and to tell jokes, and you make friends easily.
You are a beautiful person inside and out. You feel deeply, so much so that you cry when someone is hurt or at sad parts in a movie.
You fill my heart up just perfectly, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be your mother.
I love you.
